• Two weeks to go until we must start ballots.
  • What artifacts can we start staging in the optimistic case that the remaining Platfom TCK blockers are resolved.
    • Ed and Ivar will progress this offline.
• Jared, can you attend the Steering Committee meeting today? I am not able to attend due to time zone.
• Core Profile TCK SHA sum updated.
• CCRs for WildFly and Liberty must be updated

Refactoring Progress Report

• Marlow: https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/glassfish/issues/25190 (JPA appclient tests fail) has updated information but still not solved.
  • Seeking status on https://github.com/jakartaee/platform-tck/issues/1624 CDI-JPA integration test.
    • ACTION: Scott Stark offered to take a stab at creating a PR, given he creates an issue where Arjan can provide some pointers.
  • If we don’t have the preceding blockers resolved by 2024-11-06
    • The ability to hit any goal in the preceding bullet point is jeopardized.
    • Ed extended this to the end of the week.

Jakarta EE 11

• Authentication TCK 3.1.1 version still needed

  • Fixes for both issues above were merged in September. Just need to stage and publish a new 3.1.1 TCK release.
  • ACTION: Arjan to describe to Dmitry the job to be done: to make a PR against https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications for Authentication is needed to request the jakarta.ee/specifications/ Authentication page to be updated and the staged (once available) TCK be promoted.

    • ACTION: Arjan will produce this in the next day or so.

Jakarta EE 12

• Data 1.1 Release Plan created and should be ready for plan review?
  • Create a PR to https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications for a new 1.1 page with the details. Then the spec cmte will pick it up
