TCK Refactoring Jakarta EE 11

• Jakarta EE 11 Platform release
  • Tentative schedule thoughts
    • April 30 TCK complete
    • May 15 CCR created and mentor review started
    • May 19 start ballot (complete 7 to 14 days)

  • Scott Stark wrote:

    Any update on this? Did the problem also occur in GF 7.0.0?

    • Mail (Lukas)
    • Activation (Lukas)
    • Interceptors (David Blevins)

  • Issues don’t exist for MVC or NoSQL yet, but they have release plans created
• Specification Committee feedback on release plans
  • Many are very terse and could use more detail
  • Expect that as the release is more flushed out, that the plans will be updated
  • Mentors to check in periodically, thinking quarterly
• Jakarta HTTP
  • Mailing list communication to platform, rest and servlet hasn’t happened yet
• MicroProfile moving to Jakarta update
  • Further discussion to happen at the MP community call today
  • No vote has started yet. It is still pending more discussion and drafting of the wording of the ballot.
