  • No new CCRs this week
    • Ivar cleared out the ones from the last two weeks
  • Jakarta Futures Direction call is this week Thursday 12 ET
    • Using zoom meeting for the call

General

  • Ivar has added review instructions to the CCR Issue Template to enable GitHub CoPilot Enterprise to be used for reviews of CCRs. (GitHub CoPilot Enterprise is currently being rolled out to all committers of Eclipse Foundation projects)
    • May consider doing something for specifications repository for plan and release reviews
    • Also would be good to get an AGENTS.md file created for each repository

Jakarta EE 12

  • M4 week 5 of 6 starts this week (M4 ends May 15)
    • Goals to be in M4 if possible
      • REST 5.0 M1 API / spec
      • CDI 5.0 Milestone / Beta (currently at Alpha4)
      • JSON-P 2.2 M1 API / spec
      • JSON-B 3.1 M1 API / spec
  • We need to update the plan and board to reflect the current status
    • ACTION: Need to update to reflect the changes to the schedule
  • Go through the issues labeled with EE12 in the issue tracker and update the status
  • OCX was last week
    • Tanja was able to talk to analysts about Jakarta EE
    • They asked about Jakarta EE future plans – EE 12 and beyond
    • Talking with the Steering committee about long term plan being published
    • Jakarta Agentic AI availability in the future was something that was met favorably
