  • Targeting 4Q 2026. JakartaOne is December 1

    • Final submitted for release review for 5.0 https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/917
    • Mentor review in progress
      • beans.xml schema for CDI 5.0 is now posted as well under the Jakarta EE 12 section
  • JSON-B
    • 3.1.0 M1 is out
    • M2 is in good shape. Just a few updates to be made for some testing and spec for record support
  • JSON-P
    • No M1 yet, but is planned
  • REST
    • No M1 yet
    • Waiting for reviews before anything can be merged
    • Committers have been encouraged to review the relevant PRs
• Open forum
  • Jakarta Futures meeting in August is TBD. Could possibly not have one this month and just do September
